Description
Gander Disbander Land Based Unit
The Gander Disbander™ is a solar powered device that uses green laser beams to deter the presence of Canada geese from specific locations. The laser beam travels parallel to the surface of water or land for an effective diameter of approximately one half mile.
Animals are frightened and startled by the dazzling green light; the animals are confronted with the bright light beam reflecting off their body as well as their cohort’s bodies. Only animals within the controlled swath of the light beam are disturbed, while the surrounding ecosystem is unaffected; the beams are safe for animal as well as human viewing in accordance with FDA criteria.
Computer controlled lasers cover a 360˚ area with minimum power drain and NO moving parts. The unit is activated at dusk and deactivated once the sky brightens again. A tilt switch disables the laser if the unit is knocked over. The unit is totally enclosed and requires no maintenance.

Gander Disbander Testimonials
“We’ve had The Gander Disbander on our property for the last 4yrs. We have seen a significant decrease in the number of geese hanging around. The recent updates of laser color and timing adjusts I feel have even made more of a difference in our goose control program. We’ve implemented some portable units also to move to areas we see geese congregate and it’s been a very effective control measure as well.”
